Easy to use

We created Feed.Us to be easy to use for content producers (writers, editors, sales people etc) but also to be easy to install for those more technically inclined (developers, designers & programmers).

For content producers:

We based Feed.Us on common blogging systems and web-based email programs.  Our aim is to make it easy to add and edit news, blog posts, sales info, contact information, calendar events, recipes, etc.

We also made Feed.Us compatible with other programs so that you can update your site via another blog or via email.  Feed.Us imports content via a variety of sources: Google Docs, Windows LiveWriter, email, Typepad, Blogger, WordPress.com, Youtube, Flickr and many others.

But most of our customers use Feed.Us to directly update their site.  Our WYSIWYG editor is clean and simple and easy to use. Our search function allows you to easily find old content that needs to be updated. 

Custom Content Feed.Us allows you to add custom fields for content that might not fit into your typical blog or CMS system.  Need an extra field for a special URL?  We have customers that list all sorts of event data, or recipe ingrediants - Feed.Us can supply special fields just for this data.

For more technical customers:

We designed Feed.Us to be powerful and flexible yet easy to setup.

Feed.Us doesn't use any proprietary languages.  It uses CSS, XSL and your platform to deliver your content to any website.

Designers that are familiar CSS will like Feed.Us.  It works great with your CSS - you don't have to conform your CSS to the way Feed.Us works.

Programmers that are familar with XSL/XSLT will like the way we've integrated XSL for the XML formatting.
